The 3.0t has been on the road in various iterations for over 10 years now, beginning in 2009 in the US. It is also evolution of the earlier and older 3.2. The b6 s4 issues were very very well documented before 10 years of age. If this was a real problem on the 3.0t, a quick google search would confirm the point.
